Cake and Wine Party? Yes Please!

Imagine saying no to a cake and wine party. I’ll wait.

Did you imagine it? No you didn’t, because no one says no to a cake and wine party.

My friend Sara from Tight Knot Events Got together with Casey from Custom Vows by Casey to bring together a lovely group of Charleston wedding vendors for a cake and wine soiree - I don’t think it could have turned out better!

Vendor List:

Planner: Sara Russell | Co-host: Custom Vows by Casey | Photography: Jennifer Bradford | Content Creation: Jen El-Haddad | Venue Manager: Cornelius Martinet | Rentals: Cheers CHS | Linens: Stradley Davidson | Wine: Scout & Cellar (Terry L. Hennessee) | Hair: Tracie Snyder | Makeup: Beam Beauty (Julie)

The large cake was inspired by the tablecloth! I attempted to re-envision the pattern as best I could on a round cake. The two cakes flanking it were inspired by the corals in the tablecloth with some delicate white orchids and antique hydrangeas.

These groupings of three are happening all over the place. I am constantly getting requests for a collection of 3 cakes that aren’t the same, but tell some kind of story. I love how these came out with the patterned cake in the back and the more focused design on the small cakes.

Sara Russell is not only a planner extraordinaire, she’s also an incredible florist! Look at this arrangement she put together - impeccable!

Fair warning: if you ask me to share my cake to a group - I’m quite possibly bringing a pitch deck, lol!

Cake flavors included:

  • Chocolate/Vanilla Frosting

  • Red Velvet/Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Almond/Raspberry filling

  • Earl Gray/Irish Cream Frosting

All guests also went home with one of my signature tasting boxes. Until next time!
